What does the Archives actively collect?

Answer

The Archives actively collects official college records and unofficial documentation of campus life of enduring value related to the history of Gordon College and Barrington College. Records are considered to have enduring value if they contain evidence of the Colleges' policy, organization, planning, decision making, operations, procedures, campus life, community events, and scholarship. Only inactive records marked for permanent retention may be transferred to the Archives.

All other material outside of this description will be considered at the discretion of the Archives staff. Please remember, we only collect that which relates to the history and mission of the College.
