Do the Archives accept donations or acquisitions?

Answer

The Archives accepts materials either by donation or by transfer from a College office or department.
Currently, the Archives is not seeking to acquire whole collections by loan or purchase. For all donations, a deed of gift must be completed. When materials are received by the Archives, a copy will be sent to the donor. The form states the Archives' right to determine the usefulness of the donated materials. The donor may also indicate any restrictions imposed on access to the material, as well as final disposition of materials not needed by the Archives (return to donor, pass on to another collection, or discard). If a donation is of original unpublished materials that are still in copyright, a legal deed of gift is sought from the donor. To access the deed of gift form click here.
