There's a book I need but Jenks Library doesn't have it. Is there another way to get it?

Answer

Yes, there are several ways to get a book that Jenks Library doesn’t have!

The first place to look is in the NOBLE Catalog to see if another library in our network has the book. If they do, you can request the book online by placing a hold on it. You will be notified by email when it arrives, and you can pick up the book at the library circulation desk

If the NOBLE network doesn’t have the book, you can next check the Commonwealth Catalog, aka, ComCat. This searches library collections across Massachusetts. If you locate the book here, you can place a request directly through ComCat

If you still can’t find what you are looking for after those two steps, then you can request a book thru Interlibrary Loan using the Book Request form on our website.
