What does "Storage General" mean?

Answer

When searching for a book in the online catalog you may see that some are listed with a location of "Storage General." This means that the book is older and hasn't been checked out recently, so it is kept in Storage to make space on the regular shelves for newer books.

You can still check out these books by asking at the Circulation Desk or filling out the Request for Library Materials form and a staff member will retrieve the book for you.
