How are books and other library materials selected for the library’s collection?
Answer
There are two main ways materials are chosen for the library's collection. First, faculty request books and other materials that match their curriculum and support their subject areas. Second, librarians use resources like Choice Reviews to select quality resources that add to key subject areas and support the college's curriculum. Of course, staff and students are also welcome to provide suggestions and can do so through the Request Library Resource Purchase form on the library's webpage.
